Quality and safety of care

At the Irénée de Bruyn Hospital Center, quality and safety of care are at the heart of our institution’s priorities.
Every professional — whether clinical, administrative, technical, or medico-technical — contributes each day to ensuring that every patient receives safe, effective, and compassionate care.

A Continuous Improvement Approach

Our Commitment

At the Irénée de Bruyn Hospital Center, quality and safety of care are at the heart of our public service mission and our institutional project.
Every professional is committed daily to providing each patient with safe, effective, and compassionate care, based on best professional practices and respect for human values.

Our quality policy is built around three major priorities:

  • Ensuring patient safety at every stage of the care pathway

  • Continuously improving our professional practices through evaluation and training

  • Placing the patient at the center of the system, valuing their voice and experience

Our Quality Governance

To guarantee a high level of quality and safety, the institution implements several structured initiatives:

  • A Quality and Risk Management Steering Committee responsible for monitoring indicators and improvement plans

  • Regular internal evaluations (audits, professional practice assessments, feedback reviews)

  • Reporting and analysis of adverse events to prevent recurrence

  • Ongoing professional training in patient safety, compassionate care, and risk management

  • Prevention of healthcare-associated infections

  • Systematic consideration of the patient’s voice through satisfaction and experience surveys (eSatis) and the handling of complaints and claims

As part of a continuous improvement approach, additional measures will further strengthen quality governance.

We encourage everyone to report any adverse event through the national reporting portal.
