An Emergency?

Before coming
Only one number to call: 15. Depending on age, time, or day, the guidance may differ, and sometimes the situation may not be an emergency.

Assessment by 15
By calling 15, you will be connected with a nurse specialized in psychiatry. They assess the situation and determine whether immediate care is required.

If it is an emergency
The 15 service will directly refer you to the SPAO of the CHGR (Psychiatric Reception and Orientation Service). You will be guided to the appropriate facility without delay.

If it is not an emergency
The 15 service will ask you to contact the CHGR switchboard during opening hours. There, you will receive contact details and schedules for the appropriate emergency services.
In case of an emergency, do not go directly to a facility without first calling 15. This national emergency number allows professionals to assess the severity of the situation and immediately direct the person to the most appropriate care facility. The CHIDB teams work closely with the Guadeloupe SAMU to ensure fast and safe medical care.
